1995-2003 Belfor USA (fka
Inrecon, LLC, fka Pro-Tech Contractors, Inc.)
As a Regional Senior Estimator/Salesman
Rick was called upon to assess property damage and estimate
repair costs initially for Pro-Tech Contractors Inc. which
was acquired and consolidated into these two large corporations. Rick consistently was one of the leading producers
of commercial and residential reconstruction projects involving
all types of insurance claims and varying degrees of damage.
This is inclusive of a two-year period during which he performed
responsibilities as Director of Production in which he was
not credited with direct sales.
As Director of Production, Rick managed a
staff of 10 Project Superintendents for the regional office
who were responsible for the budgeting, scheduling of repairs
as well as the timely completion and quality of work. At the
completion of every project, a signed "Certificate of
Satisfaction" was obtained from the insured and/or property
owner.
In 1999, Rick was called upon
to become a full-time, on sight Project Manager on a loss
involving an explosion at a frozen food manufacturing and
distribution center. The property damage was in excess of
$7,000,000.00. Rick effectively managed all facets of the
project including fiscal control of the job costs, scheduling
and coordination of the daily production by the subcontractors,
and the development of new sub-contractor base for specialty
processing and refrigeration equipment. The project was completed
ahead of schedule and significantly under the projected reserve
anticipated by the insurance company. As a result of Rick's
performance, he was promoted to Director of Production for
Pro-Tech Contractors, Inc. encompassing the corporate office
and four satellite offices.
1988-1995 Specialty Contractors Inc.
As an estimator/salesman for this firm, Rick
enhanced his damage assessment and estimating capabilities
and was consistently a top producer estimating and contracting
restoration projects in excess of $1,000,000.00 annually.
1985-1988 J.O. Lochridge General Contractors
Rick developed his expertise in the assessment
of property damage, estimating skills and sales production
with this leading restoration contracting firm. In addition,
many of the relationships developed during this time period
are still a contributing resource with his current sales production.
1981-1985 Texas Paving Company
As Sales Manager, Rick's responsibilities
included the management of the sales staff, direct sales and
estimating costs for both new construction and the reconditioning
maintenance of existing concrete and asphalt roadways and
parking lots.
